Thirty-five students from the Department of International Law and Diplomacy, Babcock University, led by Dr. Eti Chinedu, paid an academic visit to the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Lagos on October 9, 2025.

Thirty-five students from the Department of International Law and Diplomacy, Babcock University, led by Dr. Eti Chinedu, paid an academic visit to the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Lagos on October 9, 2025.

During the visit, the Consul General and Deputy Consul General engaged the students in an interactive session that offered a practical understanding of diplomatic work and how the Consulate fosters Dutch interests in Nigeria through partnerships in trade, innovation, agriculture, and renewable energy.

The discussion also focused on building a career in diplomacy, with emphasis on adaptability, multilingualism, international exposure, and the cultivation of strong communication and leadership abilities.
