Bauchi Local Government Launches School Enrollment Campaign
Hon. Zainab Baba Takko emphasized that this initiative aligns with the endeavors of the State Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed, to bring about transformation and growth in the state's education sector.The primary goal of this campaign is to reduce the number of out-of-school children in the region and to create a conducive educational environment.
In an effort to enhance school enrollment and address the issue of out-of-school children, the Bauchi Local Government Area (LGA) in Bauchi state has officially initiated a school enrollment campaign.This campaign was inaugurated by the Caretaker Chairperson of the LGA, Hon. Zainab Baba Takko. She highlighted the program's primary objective is to increase the enrollment of children in schools while also ensuring their basic needs are met as required.

Zainab Baban Takko went on to state that the LGA actively engaged with various stakeholders within the education sector, including traditional institutions, religious scholars, and other relevant parties. This collective effort culminated in the launch of the project, with the aim of ensuring that every child is sent to school.

The Caretaker Chairperson assured that the program will be closely monitored and supervised by relevant stakeholders to ensure that the set objectives are met in a short period. It is expected to fulfill the aspirations of Governor Bala Mohammed regarding the educational needs of the people of Bauchi State and provide a standard of quality education.
Furthermore, Zainab BabbaTakko pledged to collaborate with the state and federal governments and international organizations to enhance and transform the education sector within Bauchi LGA and the state as a whole.

The Caretaker Chairperson called upon teachers, pupils, and parents to cooperate and ensure their children receive access to quality education, which will empower them to become reliable and effective members of society.
It was emphasized that the administration led by Governor Bala Mohammed is dedicated to addressing any parents who refuse to allow their children access to quality education.Zainab BabbaTakko urged parents and teachers to actively participate and oversee the progress of the campaign to ensure its success.
During the launch of the program, uniforms, school sandals, books, school bags, and other necessary materials for learning were distributed to children by the Caretaker Chairperson. The event garnered the participation of various stakeholders in the education sector, including representatives from international partners like UNICEF, USAID, the Ministry of Education, SUBEB, the PTA Association, and other relevant organizations.
