For students already admitted to ESUT who find it necessary to defer their admission for a specific academic year, the university has established a clear procedure for this process. Students who wish to request a deferment of admission must adhere to the following guidelines such as, Submit an application for deferment of admission, accompanied by a receipt of approved acceptance and school fees. This receipt is issued by the Bursar of Enugu State University of Science and Technology. It is imperative to emphasize that candidates seeking a deferment of admission must have already obtained a registration number from the university.
Deferment is only permissible for one academic year, ensuring that students maintain their connection with the academic program and do not defer indefinitely. This process allows students to temporarily postpone their academic journey at ESUT while ensuring that proper documentation and procedures are followed. ESUT remains committed to providing educational opportunities to a diverse range of students, recognizing that individual circumstances may vary. These admission notes serve as a means to accommodate students with unique qualifications and situations, ultimately fostering inclusivity and accessibility in higher education. Prospective students and current ESUT scholars are encouraged to review and follow these guidelines to ensure a smooth and informed admission process at the university.
