KHAIRUN VC Receives Muslim Corpers’ Association of Nigeria, Kano Chapter

During the visit, the MCAN Secretary General expressed gratitude to the university for its ongoing engagement with corps members and sought institutional support, including a venue for their upcoming public lecture.
In response, Professor Garba welcomed the delegation, reaffirming KHAIRUN’s commitment to supporting the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). He described the university as a “100 percent corper-friendly institution” that has consistently accommodated all corps members posted to the university.
The Vice-Chancellor provided the visitors with a brief overview of KHAIRUN, highlighting its rapid growth, commitment to academic excellence, and efforts to create a supportive environment for young professionals. He commended the corp members for their service and encouraged continued dedication to nation-building.
Demonstrating the university’s support, Professor Garba approved the use of the university theatre for MCAN’s forthcoming public lecture and pledged financial assistance to ensure the success of the event.
The visiting team expressed appreciation on behalf of MCAN and Nigerian corps members nationwide for the warm reception and the university’s generosity.
