Bayero University Kano Emerge Best University In Northern Nigeria
According to the Times Higher Education World which was monitored by myschoolnews.ng Ranking for 2023, BAYERO UNIVERSITY is the fourth-best university in Nigeria and best northern University, and in the top 1001-1200 band of universities in the world.

In total, 1,799 universities from 104 different countries and regions were evaluated this year, making it the most comprehensive edition in the 19-year history of the THE rankings. Five factors, including teaching, research, citations, international outlook, and industry income, were used by Times Higher Education to determine the rankings.
The fact that 25 Universities from Africa made it into the prestigious rankings and performed admirably was wonderful news for the continent. Four of them made it to the top 1,200 universities in the world (BUK inclusive), and eight of them were placed among the top 1,000.
Last year, only six Nigerian universities made the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, and BUK was not one of them. This year this figure doubled and Buk made it to the top 1,200 universities in the world.
