The SUG seeks a waiver for students with outstanding courses, citing the high registration fees and economic challenges that may force them to abandon their studies.

The union requests the application of Aegrotat degrees and concessional passes as outlined in the university's regulations, to support students who have faced significant academic disruptions.

The SUG's request aims to address the plight of students who have invested considerable time and effort in their studies, and to prevent them from being disadvantaged by circumstances beyond their control. The union's appeal underscores the need for flexibility and support in the university's academic policies, particularly for students facing financial and academic challenges.

The request has been submitted by the SUG President, Comr. Abdullahi Usman Baba, on behalf of the affected students, and the union hopes for a favorable response from the university administration.
