She has graduated with a first-class Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Benin, Nigeria, attaining an impressive Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.80 out of a possible 5. Her accomplishment is particularly noteworthy considering the challenges she faced while studying in a developing country with limited resources.

Not content to rest on her laurels, Esiri Oghenekaro embarked on a path of further academic pursuit by applying for a PhD program in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cornell University, New York, United States.
