BUK Incentivizes Research Publications, Disburses Funds for Conferences

Bayero University Kano has commenced incentivizing research publications, disbursing funds to promote a vibrant research culture and scholarly excellence among its academic staff.

According to Vice Chancellor Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, the university has disbursed N13.8 million as incentives for high-impact research publications.

The university has also pledged to pay N500,000 for every research output resulting in a registered patent, highlighting its commitment to innovation and research excellence.
