BUK Moves to Strengthen Collaboration with Nigerian Navy Logistics College
The Vice-Chancellor of Bayero University Kano (BUK), Professor Haruna Musa, has reaffirmed the institution's commitment to deepening its strategic partnership with the Nigerian Navy Logistics College, Dawakin Tofa.
The Vice-Chancellor made this commitment on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, while receiving the Commandant of the College, Commodore A.A. Madawaki, during a courtesy visit to the university.

The discussions focused primarily on enhancing academic cooperation, with a specific emphasis on postgraduate programmes. Professor Musa assured the delegation of BUK’s readiness to provide the necessary academic framework and administrative support to facilitate advanced training for naval officers and personnel.
To solidify the collaboration, both parties reached a consensus to develop a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The proposal is expected to be forwarded to the university management for review and eventual signing, marking a new chapter in the relationship between the two institutions.
This partnership is expected to bridge the gap between military logistics training and academic excellence, contributing significantly to national human capital development.
