BUK Receives Support from Hadejia Jama'are River Basin Development Authority

Bayero University Kano has received support from the Hadejia Jama'are River Basin Development Authority for a water-related project. The Authority's management team visited the university to announce the allocation of the project under the 2025 federal budget.

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, expressed appreciation for the Authority's intervention, which will ease the university's water supply challenges. The project includes a solar-powered water system, sanitary and water supply improvements, and installation of solar panels in the university library.

The university and the Authority will collaborate on the project's execution, leveraging the expertise of BUK's Faculty of Engineering professionals.
