Bayero University, Kano (BUK) Explores Collaborative Opportunities with JAIZ Charity and Investment Foundation
A delegation from JAIZ Charity and Investment Foundation, led by Dr. Kole Shetima, engaged with Bayero University, Kano, to solidify plans for a strategic collaboration.

A team from JAIZ Charity and Investment Foundation, spearheaded by Dr. Kole Shetima, visited Bayero University, Kano, to discuss and finalize arrangements for a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Dr. Abdullahi Shuaibu, CEO of JAIZ Charity and Development Foundation, emphasized the importance of finalizing a joint venture agreement with BUK.
Mustapha Shehu, Head of Marketing, JAIZ Takaful Insurance Limited, highlighted the unique features of Islamic insurance, emphasizing quick payment of benefits and equitable distribution of surplus to participants. He proposed comprehensive takaful insurance for the University's assets against fire and theft.

The Vice Chancellor, represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics), Professor Muhammad Sani Gumel, welcomed the delegation and assured them of BUK's readiness for collaboration. He encouraged JAIZ Charity and Investment Foundation to provide a blueprint for the proposed initiatives, assuring them that BUK would carefully study and sign the MoU.
The Vice Chancellor commended Dr. Kole Shetima and JAIZ Charity and Investment Foundation for their interest and support, particularly in the realms of Islamic finance and charitable endeavors. He expressed gratitude to the foundation for identifying with Bayero University and looked forward to a fruitful collaboration.
