Caleb University Imota Lagos has achieved a significant milestone, being ranked 18th out of 272 public and private universities in Nigeria, according to the 2024 World University Rankings by Times Higher Education (THE). This remarkable achievement places Caleb University among the elite global institutions, evaluated from 152 countries and regions.
This accomplishment follows Caleb University's recent accolade as the Best Private University in Nigeria for 2024, highlighting its dedication to academic excellence, innovative research, and student success. Prof. Nosa Owens-Ibie, Vice Chancellor of Caleb University, emphasized that these national and international recognitions underscore the institution's status as a beacon of academic brilliance.
In a statement by Olawale Adekoya, Information, Media, and Publication Specialist, the ranking acknowledges Caleb University's commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), offering world-class education, fostering a culture of innovation, and producing graduates who positively impact the global community.

Prof. Olalekan Asikhia, Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Research, Innovation, Strategy, and Administration (RISA), reflected on the university's strategic progress. "In 2021, Caleb University was ranked 66th in Nigeria. The Management set a goal to reach the top 30 by 2024. Surpassing this to reach the top 20 is an incredible achievement, showcasing our collective efforts and dedication."
