Caleb University, Imota, Lagos State, continues to make significant strides in academic learning, character development, and leadership, according to Professor Nosa Owens-Ibie, the institution's Vice Chancellor. In an interview with APATA OYENIRAN, Owens-Ibie highlighted the university’s progress and achievements aligned with its founder's vision.

Since its establishment, Caleb University has continuously evolved, making substantial progress in physical infrastructure, learning facilities, and academic accomplishments. "The proprietor desires that this university be the best, and we are making tremendous progress," stated Owens-Ibie. "We will do much better to achieve all that we need to."
The university recently launched the Vice-Chancellor’s Cup, a sports competition encompassing football, volleyball, darts, basketball, Scrabble, table tennis, and track and field events. Owens-Ibie emphasized the importance of such activities, stating, "Recreation is part of the process that helps learning. The maiden edition of the games has been worthwhile and will become an annual event."
All academic programs at Caleb University are fully accredited, including their pioneering Global Information Technology ICT certification. Owens-Ibie mentioned the university’s commitment to cutting-edge education, highlighting the near completion of a seamless WiFi architecture for students. "Our program is cutting edge," he noted, adding that Caleb University will host the National Association of Architecture Students, marking a first for a Nigerian private university.

The Mass Communication program at Caleb University benefits from expert assistance through a Memorandum of Understanding with Washington State University. Owens-Ibie proudly stated, "Our world-class students are excelling in academic learning, character, and leadership."
