COOU Secures FRSC Partnership to Establish Road Safety Special Marshals Unit
The Students Accident, Emergency and Safety Unit of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Igbariam Campus, has secured a strategic partnership with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) to establish a Road Safety Special Marshals Unit at the university and its environs.

The Head of the Students Accident, Emergency and Safety Unit, Dr. Afamnede Godfrey Oguechuo, MNASR, announced the partnership, describing it as an opportunity to strengthen road safety awareness, emergency response and community service within the university and its surrounding areas.
As part of the partnership, the FRSC has approved a 75% discount on registration fees for 25 qualified individuals who wish to become certified FRSC Special Marshals.
Dr. Afamnede has called on young, vibrant and service-minded staff of the university to take advantage of the opportunity to serve their community and the nation.
