In a heartwarming twist of fate, Anambra corps member Felix Eden Favour found himself teaching alongside his former JSS1 tutor, Mrs. Chikezie, at his place of primary assignment (PPA). The encounter took place at Prince Memorial High School, Onitsha, where both educators are currently stationed.

Felix, a corps member serving in Anambra state, shared the delightful reunion on Facebook on Friday, January 19. Expressing his joy, he revealed that Mrs. Chikezie had been his teacher, guiding him through basic science and biology from JSS1 to SS3 at St Mark's Standards Secondary School Omagba, Phase 1.

Describing their relationship as that of a mother and son, Felix expressed his pride in teaching side by side with his former tutor. He recounted Mrs. Chikezie's impact on his life, stating that she served as the school's vice principal at one point and took a personal interest in his academic growth.

"She loved and taught us well then. She took me like her son and would always correct me and tell me to play less and read more. Our bond was like that of a mother and son," Felix said.

Sharing a memorable moment from his school days, Felix recounted how Mrs. Chikezie had lifted him in joy when he gave his first speech on the assembly ground, amazed that her once shy and quiet student had grown into a confident speaker.

Upon reuniting at Prince Memorial High School, Felix emptied his pocket as a gesture of appreciation and introduced himself to the senior class Mrs. Chikezie was teaching. She expressed pride in Felix's achievements, acknowledging his dedication to teaching JSS 2 social studies.

In a chat with Legit.ng, Felix shared Mrs. Chikezie's reaction to their unexpected reunion: "She asked what I was doing there; I told her that I was to take the JSS 2 on social studies. She applauded me and encouraged me to grow more and more."
