CUSTECH Vice-Chancellor Attends PAAU Handover, Commends Prof. Ogbo’s Visionary Leadership

The Vice-Chancellor, Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, Engr. Prof. Abdulrahman Asipita Salawu FNSE, today, joined other dignitaries to welcome Prof. Salisu Usman Ogbo as he officially assumed office as the new Vice-Chancellor of Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Ayingba.

At the handover ceremony, Prof. Salawu congratulated Prof. Ogbo on his appointment, describing it as well-deserved and a reflection of his outstanding performance as the immediate past Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic. He expressed confidence in Prof. Ogbo’s capacity to provide purposeful leadership and drive further growth at PAAU.

In his acceptance speech, Prof. Ogbo appreciated Prof. Salawu for his consistent support and counsel, describing him as a trusted and dependable leader. 

Prof. Salawu also commended the outgoing Vice-Chancellor of PAAU, Prof. Marietu Ohunene Tenuche, for her successful and impactful tenure.

Earlier at Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja, the CUSTECH Vice-Chancellor congratulated the newly appointed Rector, Prof. Salihu Sanusi Avidime, and prayed for divine guidance and wisdom as he assumes leadership of the institution.

The Vice Chancellor was accompanied by the University’s Registrar, Mrs Gloria Ojochogu Yakubu.
