The Management of the Edo State Polytechnic, Usen has released the requirements for admission into any of the National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes of the Polytechnic, Myschoolnews report.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENT
Requirement for admission into National Diploma (ND) programs
- Five Credit level Passes in G.C.E ‘O’ level, Senior Secondary Certificate (SSCE) or NBTE at not more than two sitting. The
- five subjects must include Mathematics and English Language and any other three Subjects in relevant areas. And must have scored the required cut-off mark in the current UTME in addition to other requirements that will be determined thy the Admission Board from time to time
Requirement for admission into Higher National Diploma (HND) programs
The minimum entry requirements into the Higher National Diploma Programmes are as follows:
- National Diploma from a recognized Polytechnic in an accredited Programme, with at least the lower credit pass.
- In addition candidate must have acquired not less than one year post ND Diploma cognate experience. In an exceptional cases ND Diploma with pass (CGPA OF 2.0, 2.49) in the ND examination with two or more years of cognate experience in specific field may be considered for admission into the HND programme
- ND Transcript from candidates who obtained their ND from other Polytechnics.
