The outgoing Vice Chancellor of Edo State University, Uzairue, Prof. Emmanuel Aluyor, was honored at a farewell ceremony held in Benin City over the weekend. The event, attended by prominent dignitaries and members of the academic community, celebrated Prof. Aluyor's distinguished tenure of eight and a half years as the university's first substantive Vice Chancellor.
Dr. Joan Osa Oviawe, Edo State's Commissioner for Education, praised Prof. Aluyor for his exemplary leadership and transformative contributions to the university's development.
