Pure Water Seller With Stellar JAMB Score Earns University Scholarship
The Chairman of Educare, Alex Onyia and the Senator of Enugu West, Senator Osita Ngwu visited Ngwo, Enugu state pledging to provide a full scholarship to any federal university of choice for students from the village who achieved a score above 300 in their JAMB exams. Chibuzo sat for the recently concluded JAMB UTME and had an outstanding score of 309, meeting the criteria for the scholarship programme.
Ugwu Chibuzo Augustus, a pure water seller, has emerged as a shining example of academic excellence after achieving an outstanding score in the Joint Admission Matriculation Examination (JAMB) UTME. His remarkable performance has earned him a full scholarship to pursue his dreams at a Federal University.
This is following recent incident where the Chairman of Educare, Alex Onyia and the Senator of Enugu West, Senator Osita Ngwu visited Ngwo, Enugu state pledging to provide a full scholarship to any federal university of choice for students from the village who achieved a score above 300 in their JAMB exams. He also promised full scholarship to high-performing students who are unable to afford the fees required to attend a federal university.

Chibuzo sat for the recently concluded JAMB UTME and had an outstanding score of 309, meeting the criteria for the scholarship programme. The Chairman of Educare. Alex disclosed this on his social media page stating that Chibuzo has received full scholarship to study medicine and surgery in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).
He added that the total value of Scholarship for the 6 years program is approximately 7.5million NGN and would cover his school fees and feeding for the entire duration of the program. In his words, “We have awarded him a full scholarship to study medicine and surgery in UNN for his duration of study. The total value of the scholarship for the 6 years program duration is approximately N7.5 million. It includes school fees, accommodation, textbooks, feeding and monthly allowance”.

He added that Chibuzo is in the process of writing the West African Examination and expressed his confidence. while anticipating that his performance will further reinforce his scholarship award.
