Management has noted the influx of outsiders who have no defined business or mission on the University campus. This has made access to the University campus and facilities uncontrollable, posing a security threat to both staff and students of the University.

Management has noted the influx of outsiders who have no defined business or mission on the University campus. This has made access to the University campus and facilities uncontrollable, posing a security threat to both staff and students of the University.

Consequent upon the above, the Vice Chancellor has directed that, commencing from Friday, 1st March, 2024, all students must put on their Student Identity Cards whenever they are on campus.

Please be informed that, any student who fails to put on his/her student identity card shall not be allowed access into:

  • i. the University campus;
  • ii. lecture rooms; and UBOT
  • ii. examination halls.
