Enugu SUBEB Chairman Denies Unjust Dismissal of Teachers, Emphasizes Commitment to Discipline

The Chairman of Enugu State Universal Basic Education Board (ENSUBEB), Dr. Gabriel Ajah, has refuted claims of unjustly dismissing five teachers in the Board's employment, emphasizing the agency's commitment to enforcing discipline and ensuring adherence to due process among academic and non-academic staff.
Addressing the media in Enugu, Dr. Ajah clarified that the dismissed teachers were subjected to disciplinary action due to reports of misconduct, truancy, absence from duty without permission, insubordination, and other infractions against the Public Service Rules. He emphasized that the Board's decisions are based on established rules and regulations.
