In a groundbreaking achievement, 17-year-old Rishab Jain from Westview High School in Beaverton, United States, has developed an Artificial Intelligence (AI) model capable of producing medicines, securing him a substantial $50,000 cash prize.

Jain's innovation, showcased at the 2022 Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair, earned him the prestigious Regeneron Young Scientist award. The AI-based model facilitates rapid and cost-effective drug production, including recombinant COVID-19 vaccines, through synthetic DNA engineering.
