Jordyn pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, driven by her childhood dream of becoming a lawyer. However, after thorough research, she redirected her career path towards accounting. In addition to her academic pursuits, Jordyn excelled as a resident assistant, an INROADS scholar, and an executive leadership council scholar. Her ambition is to contribute to increasing the representation of Black Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) and inspire young Black individuals to explore diverse career options.

Expressing her commitment, Jordyn stated, “I want to continue to increase the pipeline of Black CPAs because it’s less than 3%, that’s my why and my drive for doing what I do. I want to show young Black girls and boys that there are other career options out there. Accounting is a great profession.”
