Federal High Court Orders UNILAG, OAU, and JAMB to Suspend 2025/2026 Admission Processes

A Federal High Court in Enugu has directed the University of Lagos (UNILAG) and Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) to suspend their admission processes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The court also ordered the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to put a hold on all admission-related activities.

The order was issued by Justice A.T. Segun-Bello following an ex-parte motion filed by a group of candidates challenging the conduct of the post-UTME process in the two universities. The court has adjourned the case to October 28, 2025, for hearing.
