Federal Poly Bali Seeks Hosting Rights for NIPOGA 2027 at 22nd NIPOSSGA Games

The Rector of Federal Polytechnic Bali, Dr Mohammed Usman, joined other dignitaries at the opening ceremony of the 22nd NBTE/NIPOSSGA Games held at Auchi Polytechnic, Edo State.

Federal Polytechnic Bali is participating in seven events: Football, Lawn Tennis, Table Tennis, Badminton, Draft, Dart, and Scrabble, with 42 contingents representing the institution.

In his goodwill message, NBTE Executive Secretary, Prof. Idris Bugaji (represented by Mr Shettima Lawan Buba), encouraged fun and fairness throughout the Games and commended Auchi Polytechnic for hosting.

The Rector of Auchi Polytechnic, Dr Salisu Shehu Umar, welcomed all guests and noted that the Polytechnic Games date back to 1981. He emphasised unity, self-development, cognitive growth, and the strengthening of technical education as key objectives of the Games before declaring the event open.

In a strategic move, the Rector of Federal Polytechnic Bali formally requested hosting rights for the 25th NIPOGA Games in 2027.

The event featured a dignitaries’ parade, a taekwondo display, and a football match between Auchi Polytechnic and Federal Polytechnic Idah.
