Federal Polytechnic Bali Mourns HOD Public Administration, Dr. Hamzat Hamisu Yakubu

The Federal Polytechnic Bali community has been thrown into another deep mourning following the tragic death of Dr. Hamzat Hamisu Yakubu, the Head of Department, Public Administration.

Dr. Yakubu reportedly passed away today at the National Hospital, Abuja, after sustaining injuries from a ghastly motor accident along the Abuja–Lafia road while on his way to Jalingo.

In a statement issued on behalf of the information and protocol unit, Federal Polytechnic Bali, heartfelt condolences were extended to his immediate family, colleagues, and the entire academic community over this painful loss.

Dr. Yakubu was widely known as a good, friendly, and honest man whose contributions to the institution and the field of Public Administration will not be forgotten. His calm disposition, commitment to duty, and willingness to support both staff and students earned him respect across the Polytechnic.

His untimely passing leaves a significant void not only within his department but across the entire institution, where he served with dedication and integrity.
