Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Honours Retired Staff, Issues Them Certificates of Service

Federal Polytechnic Bauchi has honoured its retired staff with Certificates of Service in recognition of their dedication, selfless contributions, and years of service to the institution.
The ceremony took place on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, and reflects the Management's commitment to appreciating those who have contributed to the growth and development of the Polytechnic.
Representing the Rector, the Director of Academic Planning and Quality Assurance, Usman Yusuf Dutse, commended the retirees for their commitment, noting that their efforts played a significant role in the institution's achievements.
In his welcome address, the Registrar, Federal Polytechnic Bauchi, Alhaji Kasimu Salihu, said the event was organised to recognise the invaluable contributions of the retirees and wished them good health and fulfilment in retirement.
Speaking on behalf of the retirees, Surveyor Lawal Saidu Jahun appreciated the Management for organising the historic event and expressed hope that it would become a regular tradition. He also appealed to the management to provide retiree identity cards to the retired staff, which they can use as a means of identification or recognition wherever the need arises after exiting the polytechnic.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of Certificates of Service to the retired staff.
