Federal Polytechnic Orogun Matriculates 637 Students for 2025/2026 Academic Session

The Federal Polytechnic, Orogun, has officially inducted 637 new students into its academic community during its latest matriculation ceremony.

The Rector, Dr. Duke Okoro, presided over the event, marking a significant milestone for the institution as it continues to expand its academic footprint in Delta State. In his charge to the newly admitted students, the Rector emphasized the importance of character alongside learning. 

Key Highlights from the Rector's Address:

Anti-Cultism Stance: Dr. Okoro issued a stern warning to the matriculants to shun cultism, examination malpractice, and any form of social vice that could jeopardize their studentship.

Academic Integrity: He urged the students to uphold a high standard of integrity and dedication to their studies to remain competitive in the global market.

Institutional Vision: The Rector reaffirmed the management's commitment to providing a conducive environment for technical and vocational excellence. 

The ceremony, attended by parents, guardians, and traditional rulers, signifies a fresh start for the "pioneer" spirits of the polytechnic as they embark on their various National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) journeys.
