Federal University Gashua Releases Proposed Academic Calendar for 2024/2025 Session

The Federal University Gashua has released its proposed academic calendar for the 2024/2025 academic session.
According to the calendar, the first semester is scheduled to commence on January 6, 2025, with registration and lectures starting immediately. The semester will run for 12 weeks, with a mid-semester break from December 21, 2024, to January 5, 2025.
The second semester is scheduled to commence on May 12, 2025, and will run for 14 weeks. The semester will include a mid-semester break from June 9, 2025, to June 15, 2025, to coincide with the Eid Kabir celebrations.
Other important dates in the calendar include the matriculation and orientation ceremony for fresh students, scheduled for February 11-12, 2025, and the second-semester examinations, scheduled for September 8-20, 2025.
