Federal University Lafia Warns of Scammers Selling Fake Postgraduate Admission Form

The Management of Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) has issued a warning to the public regarding scammers operating fake Facebook and bank accounts to sell postgraduate application forms.

The scammers are using the following bank details:

- Account name: Bursary Administrative Accounts

- Account No: 4513529294

- Bank Name: Kayi Micro Finance Bank

FULafia has not commenced the sale of application forms for any of its postgraduate programs and has not authorized any person or entity to collect money on its behalf. The university has established procedures for announcing the sale of application forms, admissions, fee payments, and other activities.

The university urges the public to be cautious of fraudsters attempting to defraud unsuspecting individuals. Any suspicious activities should be reported to security agencies.

FULafia is working with security agencies to identify and apprehend those involved in these illegal practices.
