Federal University of Agriculture, Mubi (FUAMB) Mourns Passing of Prof. Philip Ajidathi Addass

The management of the Federal University of Agriculture, Mubi (FUAMB), has officially announced the transition of Professor Philip Ajidathi Addass, who until his passing served as the Director of Entrepreneurship.

In a statement released on April 18, 2026, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Bitrus Dawi Tarfa, expressed deep sorrow over the loss. On behalf of the University Council, Senate, Management, staff, and students, he extended heartfelt condolences to the Professor’s immediate family.

The Vice-Chancellor specifically acknowledged the impact of this loss on the Entrepreneurship Unit and the Department of Animal Science, where Prof. Addass was a prominent academic figure and leader.

The University community described the late Professor as a dedicated administrator and scholar. Prayers were offered for the family to find the strength to navigate this difficult period, and for the eternal repose of the departed.
