Federal University of Education, Zaria Partners with Kaduna State Scholarship and Loans Board to Expand Student Support

The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Education (FUE), Zaria, Professor Yahaya Isa Bunkure, hosted a high-level delegation from the Kaduna State Scholarship and Loans Board (KDSLB) on Thursday, January 22, 2026.

The working visit aimed to strengthen ties between the institution and the state government to improve access to educational funding. 

The delegation was led by the Director of Tertiary Education Loans, Mal. Liman Iyal Zubairu. Discussions during the interactive session focused on streamlining scholarship and education loan applications for eligible students and exploring professional support schemes available for university staff.

Professor Bunkure welcomed the initiative, noting that such partnerships are vital for ensuring that no student is forced to withdraw from their studies due to financial constraints. He reaffirmed the university's commitment to facilitating all necessary administrative support to ensure FUE Zaria students benefit from the state's educational interventions.
