Federal University of Education, Zaria Urges Shortlisted NELFUND Beneficiaries to Update Account Details
The Federal University of Education, Zaria, has urged students shortlisted in the first batch of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) to update their account details to receive their ₦20,000 upkeep allowance.

The Federal University of Education, Zaria, has issued an important notice to students who were successfully shortlisted in the first batch of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) but have not received their ₦20,000 upkeep allowance.
In a statement released by the Scholarship Unit, affected students were advised to write a formal complaint letter to the Vice Chancellor through their respective Heads of Department and the Desk Officer, Scholarship Unit. The letter should include their serial number on the shortlisted list, registration number, full name, JAMB number, phone number, and both their old and new account details.
The delay in disbursement has been linked to the use of Microfinance or Wallet Account Numbers, prompting the university to request students to provide alternative account details for smooth payment.
Students are required to submit their letters at the Scholarship Unit, located at the Micro-Teaching Lab in the School of General Education, on or before Friday, February 28, 2025.
