The Federal University of Kashere (FUK) has officially announced the date for its 2025/2026 Academic Session Matriculation Exercise for all fresh students.

The ceremony is scheduled to hold on Thursday, 8th January 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the University Multipurpose Indoor Sports Hall.

In a notice signed by the Registrar, Nasir Lawal Abdullahi, all incoming students are required to adhere to specific matriculation requirements to ensure smooth participation:

  1. Completion of Registration and Documentation: Fresh students must be fully registered and documented at their respective departments and the Admission Office by Wednesday, 7th January 2026.

  2. Payment for Academic Gown and Oath Form: Each matriculating student is required to pay N2,000.00 via Remita for the hiring of an academic gown and issuance of the matriculation oath form. Verification of payment must be done at the Bursary Department’s Cash Office, and receipts presented to Faculty Officers before gowns and oath forms are issued. Payment and collection of gowns will commence on Tuesday, 6th January 2026.

  3. Returning Gowns and Oath Forms: Students must return hired academic gowns along with completed oath forms to their Faculty Officers by Monday, 12th January 2026. Late returns will attract a daily penalty of N1,000.00.

The Registrar emphasized the importance of compliance with these directives to avoid any delays or additional charges.

Copies of the notice have been sent to the Vice Chancellor, Deputy Vice Chancellors, University Librarian, Bursar, all Deans, Heads of Departments, and other relevant university offices.
