Federal University of Lafia V-C visits OSSAP-SDGs

The Federal University of Lafia, (FILafia) has indicated its readiness to partner with the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Goals (OSSAP-SDGs) for development.

This initiative was made known by the Vice-Chancellor of FULafia, Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, when he paid a courtesy call to the Secretary of Programme, Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Goals (OSSAP-SDGs), Engr Ahmad Kawu, FNSE, at his office in Abuja, recently.

Abdul Rahman commended the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (OSSAP-SDGs) for efforts put in place for the implementation of SDGs in the country.

He said that he was in the office to interact with the secretary and commend him for his development initiatives.

The vice-chancellor said: "As a fledgling institution, our University needs to partner with relevant stakeholders like the OSSAP-SDGs for mutual benefits.”

Abdul Rahman thanked his host for the opportunity of the meeting, saying that he looked forward to a possible collaboration between his office and the University.

Kawu, who pleasantly welcomed Abdul Rahman to his office, said that he felt encouraged to continue his work by the visit.

He wished Abdul Rahman more successes in his administration of FULafia and service to humanity.
