FG Appoints Dr. Yunusa Dan-Gwani as Chairman, Governing Council of UNIMAID

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, has announced the appointment of Dr. Yunusa Dan-Gwani as Chairman, Governing Council of the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID), Borno State.

According to a statement from the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, the appointment was approved by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and takes effect from June 13, 2024.

Dr. Dan-Gwani's emoluments and conditions of service will be in line with Category 'B' of the Federal Government Agencies and Statutory Corporations, as specified in Circular Ref. No. SWC/S/04/S.310/T/65 of April 8, 2016.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation congratulated Dr. Dan-Gwani on his appointment and wished him success in his new role.
