The Matan Fada School of Technology in the Nasarawa local government area fell victim to a fire outbreak, promptly extinguished by the Kano State Fire Service, as reported by Alhaji Saminu Abdullahi, the service's public relations officer. The incident, which occurred on Monday night, resulted in significant damage to the educational facility.

The Kano State Fire Service responded swiftly to a distress call received at approximately 8:28 p.m. from Faisal Dauda, alerting them to the blaze. By 8:34 p.m., a fire vehicle was dispatched to the scene, where firefighters worked tirelessly to bring the situation under control.
Despite their efforts, a considerable portion of the school's infrastructure suffered damage. Alhaji Abdullahi disclosed that a building housing nine classrooms and six offices was engulfed by the flames.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is currently underway, while efforts are being made to assess the extent of the damage incurred. The Kano State Fire Service confirms that there was no loss of lives in the outbreak.
