Former Ondo First Lady Chief Betty Akeredolu Earns Doctorate Degree from FUTA

Chief Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, former First Lady of Ondo State, has been awarded a doctorate degree by the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA).
The aquaculturist and politician successfully defended her PhD thesis titled *Comparative Bio-technical Models for the Production of African Catfish (Clarias gariepinus) Fingerlings Using Solar Powered Recirculating Aquaculture System* on Friday. The defense, conducted before a panel of distinguished professors, was a lengthy and rigorous process.
In a statement to the press following her defense, Mrs. Akeredolu dedicated her achievement to her late husband, former Ondo State Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON. She expressed regret that her husband, who inspired her to pursue this milestone, could not be present to celebrate with her.
