The management of the federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Owerri, Imo State has announced the registration deadline for those who graduated from the University from 2017-2021.

The notice sighted by Myschoolnews reads:

"This is to inform the Polytechnic Community and in particular students admitted into the Institution between 2017/2018, 2018/2019, 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 Academic Sessions respectively who have not completed their registration process to do so between 20" June and 20 August 2023. 

"In view of the above, any student admitted into the Institution within the academic sessions under reference, who fails to complete the registration process within the period stated above would lose his/her admission status in the Institution. 

"Furthermore, students who are affected are advised to complete all their registration processes before the expiration of the deadline without further delay. This will enable Management to tidy up the report to be forwarded to the appropriate offices at Abuja. 

"Henceforth, all registration processes in the Institution should be completed within three (3) weeks from the date of offer of admission in any particular Academic Session, after which the student would lose his/her academic status. 

"The above is as stipulated in Part II, Part C of Students' Handbook (2018-2023) which states interalia:

 "Registration of students for an academic year will be during the 1 semester only, 1st and 2nd weeks - Normal registration, 3fd week - Late registration which attracts a late registration fee. The registration exercise must be completed within three weeks of the first semester. Any old student who fails to register within the time specified above shall be deemed to have withdrawn voluntarily from the Polytechnic". 

"Consequently, students who fail to adhere to this directive will have themselves to You have been duly informed accordingly."
