The Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Lokoja (FUL), Professor Gbenga Ibileye, on April 20, 2026, paid an unscheduled visit to inspect the ongoing construction of lecture theatre desks across the institution.

The project, managed by Alhaji Sarafadeen Abdulrahheem, Chairman of Deen Group of Companies, is aimed at producing durable and functional furniture to enhance teaching and learning conditions.

During the inspection, Professor Ibileye expressed satisfaction with the progress and commended the quality, strength, and finishing of the desks, noting that they meet the standards expected in a modern university environment.  

Alhaji Abdulrahheem assured the university management of the highest level of quality and durability, explaining that the materials used were carefully selected to withstand constant use in busy academic settings. He added that each desk is designed to conveniently accommodate three students, ensuring comfort and efficient use of space.

The project is expected to significantly improve learning facilities and support the institution’s drive toward academic excellence.
