FULafia Governing Council Visits Governor Sule, Seeks Stronger Institutional Collaboration

The members of the Governing Council of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), led by the newly appointed Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Dr (Mrs) Adebimpe Adebajo, has paid a courtesy visit to the Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi A. Sule, at the Government House in Lafia.

The visit was aimed at strengthening the relationship between the University and Nasarawa State Government and appreciate the governor’s support for the institution’s development.

Speaking during the visit, Dr Adebajo commended Sule for his commitment to improving the University’s learning environment and infrastructure.

She reaffirmed the council’s dedication to promoting academic excellence through sound governance, strategic partnerships and effective collaboration.

The pro-chancellor also pledged to draw on her experience to provide clarity and focus in the council’s decision-making processes.

She identified key areas requiring government support, including improved academic facilities, better lecture environments, enhanced administrative efficiency and improved staff and student welfare.

In his response, Governor Sule welcomed the delegation, reiterating his administration’s commitment to supporting education and partnering with FULafia to advance academic excellence and innovation.
