The Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) will host its 31st inaugural lecture on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.
Professor Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu from the Department of Physics, Faculty of Physical Sciences, will present the lecture, titled "Sustainable Nuclear Radiation Attenuating Materials: Towards the Valorisation of Nigeria's Mineral Resources."
The lecture will take place at 2:00 p.m. at the MIS Multi-purpose Hall, Permanent Site Campus, Lafia. Interested individuals can also join virtually via Google Meet.
This event aims to showcase the university's commitment to academic excellence and research innovation, highlighting the potential of Nigeria's mineral resources in developing sustainable nuclear radiation materials.
