Fulafia VC Abdul Rahman visits minister of state for education

The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, has visited the Minister of State for Education, Hon. Dr Yusuf Tanko Sununu, at his office in Abuja, myschoolnews Report.

During the visit, the vice-chancellor congratulated Sununu on his appointment, praying to Allah to make him succeed in his new assignment.

He commended President Bola Tinubu for appointing Sununu as the minister of state for education, saying that with Sununu on board, the education sector would overcome some of the many challenges bedeviling it.

Abdul Rahman said: “I see your appointment as putting a square peg in a square box and, therefore, I am happy because I strongly believe that with you as the minister of state for education, many of the problems affecting especially the universities in Nigeria will be addressed.”

Abdul Rahman expressed his hope that FULafia, working with Sununu, would witness development, saying: “Our University looks to having a very robust relationship with your ministry.”

Sununu welcomed Abdul Rahman to his office courteously, saying that the FULafia vice-chancellor is a great education administrator.

He praised Abdul Rahman for his strong leadership in FULafia, promising to work with him for the development of the education sector in the country.
