The Student Union Government (SUG) of the Federal University Lokoja has released a transportation advisory urging students to prioritize safety while commuting within the campus.

In a statement signed by the SUG Director of Transportation, Augustine Ojotule Opaluwa, the union cautioned students against reckless riding and unsafe driving practices. The notice emphasized that any student found riding carelessly would be held personally responsible for the consequences of any resulting accident.

The union further directed students to board shuttles strictly at designated shuttle parks and warned against standing at the school gate while waiting for vehicles, describing the habit as hazardous and avoidable.

Reaffirming its commitment to student welfare, the SUG underscored that compliance with the directive is essential to maintaining order and safeguarding lives within the university community.
