FULOKOJA VC Prof Olayemi Akinwumi Attends 46th Revival Service of The Apostolic Church Nigeria
Professor Olayemi Akinwumi, Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Lokoja, attended the 46th Revival Service of Spiritual Songs of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, where he chaired the event and celebrated the power of worship and music.
The Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Lokoja (FUL), Professor Olayemi Akinwumi, attended the 46th Revival Service of Spiritual Songs of The Apostolic Church Nigeria (TACN), Ajara Assembly, Lokoja District, where he served as the Chairman of the occasion.
Themed "Sing Forth the Honour of His Name," the event featured a series of inspiring songs and musical ministrations by the church choir, directed by Dr. Tosin Olagunju, acting Head of the Department of Linguistics and African Languages at FUL. The service was a celebration of the power of worship and music to honor God's name.
Several other dignitaries from the university were present at the event, including Professor Gbenga Ibileye, Provost of the College of Postgraduate Studies; Professor Sunday Eric Adewumi, Director of the TETFund Career Center; Mr. Emmanuel Bello, Deputy Registrar for Consultancy Services and Ventures; Mr. Emmanuel Ikpelemoh, acting Head of the Department of Theatre Arts; Mr. Daniel Nwankwo, Public Relations Officer; and Mrs. Eunice Afolabi Ekundayo, among others.
The service underscored the university's continued commitment to fostering relationships with faith-based organizations and supporting community engagement initiatives.
