FUNAAB Opens Inter-University Transfer Applications for 2026/2027 Academic Session

According to a memo issued by the Senior Deputy Registrar, Senate and Admissions, Dr. Abdussobur Salaam, the application portal will open on Monday, July 13, 2026. Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦50,000, inclusive of REMITA charges.
The university stated that only students currently enrolled in recognised Nigerian universities and admitted through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) are eligible to apply for the transfer programme.

To qualify, applicants seeking admission into Agricultural programmes must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.00 on a 5.00-point scale, while those applying for Engineering and Science programmes must possess a minimum CGPA of 3.50 as of the second semester of the current academic session.
Candidates are also required to ensure that their official academic transcripts are forwarded directly to the Registrar, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.
Interested applicants are advised to visit the university's admissions portal, read the Inter-University Transfer guidelines carefully, access the application platform using the JAMB registration number on their JAMB Admission Letter, complete and print the online application form, and submit the completed form to the Senate and Admissions Unit.
The university urged prospective applicants to ensure they satisfy all the stipulated admission requirements before submitting their applications.
