FUNAAB Partners with Polaris Bank, NCF, and ATCN to Plant 3,000 Trees on Campus

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), has partnered with Polaris Bank, the Nigerian Conservation Foundation (NCF), and the American Tower Corporation Nigeria (ATCN) to plant 3,000 trees on its campus. This initiative aims to promote environmental sustainability and reduce the university's carbon footprint.

The tree-planting exercise features 1,400 Terminalia Superba (Afara/Yellow Pine), 900 Parkia biglobosa (Iru/Locust Beans), and 700 Khaya Ivorensis (Oganwo/Mahogany). FUNAAB's Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, expressed gratitude to the donors and reaffirmed the university's dedication to nurturing the seedlings to maturity.
