FUTA Hosts CIPM Ondo State Branch Delegation, Explores Strategic Collaboration

The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) recently welcomed a delegation from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), Ondo State Branch, in a meeting emphasizing professional development, strategic partnerships, and human resource management excellence.

Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adenike Oladiji, who received the delegation alongside Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Professor Timothy Amos, underscored FUTA’s commitment to quality training and highlighted the university’s recognition as one of Nigeria’s leading institutions. She noted that collaboration with CIPM would enhance FUTA’s societal contributions, particularly through the School of Professional Development, which offers non-traditional programs for professionals.
Chairman of CIPM Ondo State Branch, Sola Lebile (ACIPM), outlined the Institute’s diversification across human resource management, emphasizing its local and global presence and benefits to members and students. He highlighted plans to establish a CIPM chapter within FUTA, contingent on staff and student cooperation.
The delegation included Barr. Natasha Abayomi (Secretary), Mr. Akintan Akinyemi A. (Assistant General Secretary/Public Relations Officer), Mrs. Oluwasesan Toluwatope (Treasurer), Mr. Gbadebo Oyewo (Financial Secretary), Mr. Ageh Ayodeji (Immediate Past Chairman), and Mrs. Nene Ogunleye (Ex-Officio).

The discussions focused on leveraging both academic and professional expertise to foster meaningful collaborations and future partnerships between FUTA and CIPM.
