FUTA Pro-Chancellor Senator Daduut Pledges Support for Education at Thanksgiving Event

Senator Professor Nora Ladi Daduut, the newly appointed Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), has reaffirmed her commitment to enhancing quality education for young Nigerians. Her pledge came during a thanksgiving Mass held in her honor at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church in Kwalla, Quanpan Local Government Area of Plateau State.

Senator Daduut, who previously represented Plateau South Senatorial District in the 9th National Assembly, emphasized that education serves as the foundation of national development. “Education is the bedrock of any nation’s development, and we must make it attractive to everyone, especially the underprivileged,” she stated.

In her address, Daduut highlighted the critical importance of investing in girl-child education, noting its significant role in driving national progress. “Educating the girl-child provides a platform for her to become an advocate and catalyst for positive change,” she affirmed.

While commending the government’s ongoing efforts to improve the education sector, Senator Daduut stressed the necessity for additional support.
