FUTO Announces Commencement of 2024/2025 JUPEB Programme
Prospective candidates are required to meet certain academic criteria for admission into the programme. They must possess five (5) O’ Level Credit passes in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB at not more than two (2) sittings in relevant subjects.
The Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) has officially commenced the 2024/2025 FUTO Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) Foundation School Programme. This one-year programme is designed to prepare candidates for Direct Entry Admission into FUTO, as well as other Nigerian and Foreign Institutions.

Prospective candidates are required to meet certain academic criteria for admission into the programme. They must possess five (5) O’ Level Credit passes in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB at not more than two (2) sittings in relevant subjects. The required subjects include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Agricultural Science, Geography, Economics, and Computer Studies.
To apply, candidates are expected to pay an application fee of N16,000.00 via REMITA. The application process is entirely online. Interested applicants can visit the University's official website, navigate to the "Prospective Students" menu, and select the JUPEB Application link. Detailed instructions for completing the application will be provided on the website.

Upon completion of the application, candidates are advised to check their admission status on the University's website two weeks after submission. According to the announcement, lectures for the 2024/2025 session of the FUTO-JUPEB Foundation School Programme are scheduled to commence on September 24, 2024. Prospective students are encouraged to complete their applications early to ensure timely processing and enrollment.
